Mini Kin Bag ♻️

Our first handbag model  MINI KIN 100% upcycled from the scraps collected during the manufacture of our Birkin Jeans.  One  happy patchwork of different fabrics of blue cotton jeans imagined by Hemma Lange, independent and ingenuous upcycling designer!

A visually strong creation, with all the charm of the asperities of upcycling: games of  washes, back jeans pocket on the bag, belt with loops that serves as a handle.

This bag is perfectly  functional  (zipper, inside pocket to protect your  IPhone) and designed to be worn on a daily basis and to adapt to its looks thanks to  4 handle adjustments possible: minaudière, shoulder strap, tight cross-body or large cross-body.

NEW: GLITZ customization option

You can choose to customize your Mini Kin with  the word of your choice written in rhinestones. 2 Glitz options:

- Light Glitz = letters drawn by a line of silver rhinestones

- Full Glitz = letter drawn by a line of silver rhinestones and an outline of letters in blue or a mixture of blue and pink.

The final design will be proposed to you by email for validation before starting  the installation of the rhinestones  by hand.

A 100% upcycled creation: each  of the finishes has been carefully collected either  in destock, via  salvage or second hand:

- outer canvas in second hand jeans offcuts

- inner lining in  old sheets

- rigid interior structure in reclaimed carpet

- closing  lightning bolt from the remains of large houses

The handle of the handbag, taken from an old belt  Jeans,  can be adjusted in 4 different ways:  in minaudière or on the shoulder for a 90s look  chic, in a tight or wide cross body for a more street-relaxed look.

Each piece is unique and has asperities specific to its former life, in particular fading marks.

Matter:  Exterior: 100% cotton jeans. Interior: Lining in old sheets 100% cotton.

This handbag is a mischievous creation by Hemma Lange,  experienced upcycling designer (see her portrait here ), who gave us the idea to reuse offcuts from our Birkins Jeans, themselves upcycled from old Levi's jeans.

We have carefully looked for all the complementary materials ourselves in order to respect a radical commitment: a 100% upcycled creation, which does not require any new supplies.

This garment is 100% Made  in France, entirely made  by our  specialist upcycling workshop in the Paris region.
